Sunset at Kaziranga on the right whilst below are pictures of the Dehing river on the North Bank near Balipara – where we lived.

The wild water buffalo were caught by surprise as we floated down on the Manas River on a canoe

Although Manas and Kaziranga are famous sanctuaries, anywhere outside the urban populations of Assam has an abundance of wild life although I would hesitate to say that they were always havens for wildlife….
